I moved to my third and final host family this past week and everything is running very smoothly. I am living about 4km away from Brædstrup in a tiny village town called Tyrsting. The host family I am staying with are all very lovely. My host dad is Jørgen, host mom is Karna, and host brother is Jonas.
Jonas and I happen to live in a "guest house" sort of thing, where we each have our own room, and we share a living room and a full bathroom. The living arrangement is not too shabby at all! I am not complaining at all, life is good.
I am living on a farm on the beautiful country side in Denmark and everything is wonderful. On the farm we have sheep, roosters, a pony, and some other animals I can't name off the top of my head. In the past three days, nine baby lambs were born and it is just the cutest thing to see them running around.
This coming Saturday is not only my birthday, but my host brothers as well and the family is having a nice birthday weekend for us. My host mothers family is coming on Saturday, and my host fathers family is coming on Sunday. It will be a busy weekend to say the least and I will update the blog after my birthday.
It is very late and I should get to bed but I just want to share with you some pictures I took quickly of the house to give you an idea.
Talk soon,
Dillon

Hey Dillon,
You might remember me...my mom Laura and your dad are cousins. My mom passed on your blog to me as she thought it would interest me...it defintly has! WOW! what can I say...it sounds like you are having a trip of a lifetime...your blog is really exciting to read with your many interesting stories and fun adventures. With the most recent story of the Bob Dylan concert...so cool! As well, your pictures are amazing...they really do say a thousand words. You really seem to be embracing your time there! I am currently studying at STFX and have met a couple of Danish exchange students, they sure like to have a lot of fun and are really nice guys! So I can only imagine what a remarkable time you are having living in their country. I read it is your birthday this weekend and so neat that you are celebrating it at the same time as your host brother...Happy Birthday! Enjoy the rest of your journey in Denmark!

Wow - what a wonderful and varied experience you are having, Dillon. I am so glad you are finishing your Denmark adventure in the countryside. Now you will experience farm life too - you know your Dad and Aunts and Uncle have such treasured memories of our times spent at your great-grandparents' farm in Landsdowne. We never had lambs though! Thanks for the photos. Looks like a wonderful spot - your own space, too! How lucky is that? Happy Birthday to you and Jonas. Hoist the birthday flag! Love Liisa. PS Hi Garrah! I hear great things about FX.
Hey Buddy. Now you can legally vote in Canada - Whooopy!!! Too bad there isn't anyone of real worth to vote for; nontheless you should familiarize yourself with Canadian politics and politicians to ensure that your vote will count.
Mom and Pat say I'm boring you - too bad for them (and you too, says Pat).
Grandma is smiling and nodding her head in approval of Pats comment.
We all wish you and Jonas a belated Happy Birthday.
Man, do I wish I had the chance to see Bob Dylan live in Denmark, and front row to boot - could it get any better?
Grandma wanted to say hi. Pat and I brought her lunch. She say's Happy Birthday Dillon, and she loves you and can't wait to see you back in Canada soon.
There's a bit of a family reunion here at Grandma's next weekend (April 25th) with all kinds of cousins from the US and Canada on the Fodey side. Maybe even Garrah Parkes - so we'll be sure to say hello for you.
Hope all is well Bud and can't wait to see you when you get home.
Love Grandma, Aunt Pat and Uncle D'Arcy

Your pictures are great!! You definitely have an eye. I have been tracking how long it will be until your cross land Europe tour. I can hardly breathe and I'm not the one who is going!!!
I really like your new habitat - I'm jealous! I always wanted to live on a working farm. I hope that you learn alot about that incredible lifestyle. Do your chores Boy!!
Love Rose
